Joel and Sarah met in the small town of Goondiwindi, Queensland, shortly after Sarah graduated from school. They have been together since 2006, married in 2008, and are proud parents of two beautiful children.

While Joel was out on the road, driving his truck and managing JSM as a single owner-driver operation, he was not only completing deliveries but also building the business—securing new contracts, expanding client relationships, and finding opportunities for growth. Meanwhile, Sarah balanced looking after their children, working full-time, and handling the business’s administration.

Throughout these early years, they supported each other through the challenges of starting a business, raising a young family, and navigating the uncertainties of life on the road and at home. It wasn’t until 2015, after relocating to Brisbane for the second time, that Sarah was able to join Joel full-time, working alongside him to grow the business even further.

Together, Joel and Sarah have built JSM from the ground up, growing it with hard work, dedication, and a strong focus on family values. For them, JSM isn’t just a business—it’s a reflection of their commitment to each other, their family, and the relationships they’ve nurtured with growers, merchants, partners, and subcontractors for over a decade.
