From Humble Beginnings to Big Opportunities
In 2013, JSM was founded by Joel and Sarah in Goondiwindi, Queensland. Built on hard work, determination and a commitment to building something of their own, despite a challenging period of by rising operating costs and the growing threat of drought.
In 2015, as drought conditions intensified, the family relocated to Brisbane in search of new opportunities. The move marked a turning point, with JSM securing a major logistics contract with a Swedish brand newly established in Australia, laying the foundations for continued growth.
As drought continued to affect Western Queensland, JSM diversified into feed grain imports, expanding its capabilities in shipping and bulk commodity transport. Contracts with leading agricultural merchants along the East Coast further strengthened the business’s role in agricultural logistics, bulk commodity handling and grain supply chains.
Growing while Staying True to our Roots
JSM has grown from a single owner-driver operation into a well established Australian transport and logistics provider offering Bulk Haulage, Heavy Haulage, General Freight, Container Transport, Out-of-Gauge Transport and Hot Shot Deliveries, alongside tailored logistics solutions.
Supported by our own trucks, machinery and equipment, a growing team and an extensive subcontractor network, we have developed the capability to manage complex logistics requirements across a range of industries and supply chains.
Throughout this journey, Joel, Sarah and the JSM team have remained committed to reliable service, practical solutions and strong, lasting relationships with clients, suppliers and industry partners.
